Accessibility at the station

The new station in Turku has tracks 1 and 2 in use. Accessible access to the tracks is via the Logomo bridge, which can be reached by elevator from Ratapihankatu and Vaunukatu.

Assistance service at the station

The assistance point is located on the Ratapihankatu side next to the accessible parking spaces. Drop-off traffic can reach the immediate vicinity of the point.

To book assistance service, call VR customer service for accessible travel at 0800 188 822 (free of charge, service hours Mon–Fri 5am–10pm, Sat–Sun 7am–10pm) no later than 24 hours before your departure.

Car and vehicle loading

Please reserve enough time to reach the site. If VR loads the car on your behalf please bring the car and hand over the keys no later than 30 minutes before the loading begins. Vehicle loading takes place from 7pm until 7.30 pm.

The keys to cars left to be loaded by VR must be be left in VR’s locker no later than 30 minutes before loading begins. Leave the keys in the mail slot of the door found behind the old station building, on the platform side.

Print out your ticket and attach it to the keys. You can also write the ticket information on a paper (name, phone number, departure date, train, departure station, destination station, car make and model, and registration number).

Keys to cars that arrive can be picked up from the car-loading staff. However, on weekdays the keys that are not picked up will be taken to the Turku railway station Avis Car Rental starting from 08.30 a.m. On weekends, you get the keys only from the car-loading staff. Car-loading staff is available during loading and reachable by phone between 09.20–10.45 at 029 434 8063 (lnc/mcc).

The station has moved to Logomo on 5 August

The station has moved to new platforms, which are located next to Logomo, on Monday 5 August. Station services will be available in Logomo’s premises from now on. The new station will initially be used by night trains to and from Turku and by long-distance trains between Tampere and Turku. Long-distance trains between Helsinki and Turku will use the new station from Sunday 15 December.

The address of the new station is Logomon Silta 1 and it takes about 10–15 minutes to walk from the old station building to the new one.

The car-carrier loading point at Turku railway station is located next to the old Turku railway station building, at Ratapihankatu 37.

The railway station moved to the new platforms in Logomo on 5 August. Night trains will also depart from the new platforms, which can be accessed via the Logomo bridge. Access to the night train departure location is along the Ratapihankatu pedestrian path and the Logomonsilta bridge.

The departure tracks of long-distance trains between Tampere and Turku changed on 5 August. You can find the most up-to-date information about the departure platform of your train on the displays at stations and at the top of this page.

The station services of Turku Railway Station are located in Logomo’s premises at 9 Junakatu. Access to the station platforms is via the Logomo bridge. Platforms 1 and 2 are in use. The Logomo bridge can be reached by lift or stairs from both Ratapihankatu and Logomo. The assistance point is located near the Logomo bridge lift, along the pedestrian lane of Ratapihankatu. The ticket vending machine is located at the Logomo end of the bridge. The loading point for car-carriers is located at Ratapihankatu 37, next to the old station building.

Föli will start bus traffic to the Logomo station on 16 Dec.

From 16 December, Turku’s local transport company Föli will operate bus lines 1B and 1C via the railway station at the Logomo bridge to the Turku bus station. The lines use stop 143 Ajurinkatu.
