Changes in lost property services from 8 September to 10 October

VR delivers any property found on trains to Finland's Lost Property Service. However, the offices of Finland's Lost Property Service in Helsinki and Vantaa are subject to a temporary operating ban imposed by the Regional State Administrative Agency from 10 September to 11 October 2023.

From Friday 8 September 2023 to Wednesday 11 October 2023, the lost property service of long-distance trains is located in Turku and the lost property service of HSL commuter trains is located in Kamppi in Helsinki. Depending on the destination of your trip, you can inquire about property lost on VR's commuter trains either from Turku or Kamppi.

If you have lost something on a train trip to Helsinki before Friday 8 September 2023, you can inquire about your property at the Helsinki offices of Finland's Lost Property Service from 11 October 2023 onwards.

Lost property services for long-distance trains from 8 September to 10 October

Property found on long-distance trains is delivered to Finland's Lost Property Service (Relico Oy) located in the Länsi 1 shopping centre at Viilarinkatu 5 in Turku. You can inquire about lost property either by visiting the office or by calling a paid service number, and you can collect the property from the office or have it delivered to you by mail.

Lost property services for VR's commuter trains from 8 September to 10 October

You can inquire about property lost on commuter trains to Tampere (M and R trains), Riihimäki (D, R, T and G trains), Lahti (G, Z and O trains) and Kouvola (O and Z trains) from the Turku office of Finland's Lost Property Service, in the same manner as property lost on long-distance trains. As for property lost on trains to Helsinki, you can inquire about your property on site or contact Suomen Löytötavarapiste (H.T.P. Palvelut Oy) for an additional charge either by calling or by filling out an online form. The office of Löytötavarapiste is located in the Kamppi shopping centre, Narinkka 3, Helsinki. Lost property services for HSL trains from 8 September to 10 October

From 8 September to 11 October 2023, property found on HSL commuter trains will be delivered to Suomen Löytötavarapiste (H.T.P. Palvelut Oy). You can find more information about lost property services on HSL's website, Opens in a new tab
