You must buy train tickets in advance temporarily for long-distance trains

Train tickets are not sold on the trains from 15 June. This is due we want to ensure that there are enough seats for every customer.

Our mission is to avoid overcrowded traffic trains. You can buy train tickets from VR Matkalla app, uusi.vr.fi website, vr.fi website, and ticket vending machine.

Also, you can purchase tickets from R-kioski and our stations with ticket sales in Helsinki and Tampere which are opening next week.
