You can recognise the Pendolino Plus train by its fresh new look. Pendolino Plus trains also have one coach more than Pendolino trains. High-quality materials, a fresh new look and the brand-new Ekstra Plus travel class guarantee a unique experience.
The abbreviation for Pendolino Plus trains is S. The abbreviation is used, for example, in train schedules.

- Please note that the wheelchair spaces on Pendolino Plus trains are in Ekstra Calm. However, the wheelchair spaces are priced according to the prices of the Eco Class seats.
- Bikes cannot be transported on Pendolino Plus trains.

Pendolino Plus trains are fixed train units (a locomotive and seven coaches), so the vehicle order is always the same. You can view the exact train composition and services when you are purchasing a train ticket.
Ekstra Plus Class

- Service attendant who makes sure the passengers have a pleasant journey

Ekstra Calm Class

Next stop Turku
Pendolino Plus will start operating on the Helsinki–Turku route on Monday 3 Nov. The trains will stop at the same stations as before, and the travel time will remain the same. Later on, the route network of Pendolino Plus trains will also be extended to the Helsinki–Oulu route.

Pendolino Plus has 7 coaches, seats for 346 passengers, a restaurant car, a play area and a completely new Ekstra Plus travel class. Ekstra Plus offers everyday luxury, personal service and the option of ordering a meal served to your seat in advance.
