Routes between Lahti-Kouvola-Kotka/Kotka harbour will become part of VR's commuter traffic network from 5 Jan 2022 onwards. Tickets for commuter trains on this area will be released for sale on 30 Dec.

Routes between Lahti-Kouvola-Kotka/Kotka harbour will become part of VR's commuter traffic network in early 2022, which will affect the tickets and prices in the area.

Commuter train tickets for these routes from Jan 5th 2022 onwards are not on sale yet in our sales channels, as we are still working on the upcoming changes. We will publish the timetables and release the tickets for sale on 30 Dec.

The opening of sales for car spaces on trains to and from Kemijärvi was delayed because the weight limits of the car-carrier wagons used on the route required changes to our sales channels. The necessary updates have now been completed, and we can now open bookings for car spaces.
