Common rules of conduct for railway stations
Welcome to the station!
We want the station to be a safe, smooth and comfortable place for everyone to move, travel and visit. With the help of these common rules, we ensure safety, accessibility and smooth travel.
1. The station is a shared travel and service environment
The premises of the station are primarily intended for travel, escorting, pick-up, transactions and the use of the station's services. We ask everyone to pay attention to each other and behave appropriately and respectfully at the station.
2. Safe movement at the station
A lot of people move in different directions at the station. Please pay attention to others and move calmly and safely. Keep access routes, doors, lifts, escalators, platform areas, waiting rooms and exit routes free so that movement is smooth and accessible for everyone.
Bikes, electric scooters, skateboards and other similar means of transport are part of the travel chain for many. You must walk them inside the station and in the platform areas so that safety and smooth movement are not compromised.
Please take special care on escalators, in lifts and in the platform areas. For safety reasons, large luggage must not be transported on escalators, but only in lifts.
3. Safety in the platform and track area
Safety is always a priority in the platform areas and near the station. For safety reasons, the tracks, maintenance areas, technical rooms or other areas reserved for personnel must not be entered and the tracks must only be crossed at the points designated for it. You must not stay or act at the station in a way that may endanger your own safety or the safety of others. The guardians are responsible for the safe movement of children at the station and in the platform areas.
4. Uninterrupted and safe transactions
Activities that disturb others or undermine safety are not permitted at the station. These include:
- threatening, violent or disturbing behaviour
- making noise or using audio equipment in a way that disturbs others
- discrimination, harassment or other ill-treatment
- vandalism, making a mess, spitting or other untidy activities

5. Alcohol, drugs and smoking
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in separately marked areas. The use of alcohol and other intoxicants in the public areas of the station is prohibited. The use of alcohol is only permitted in separately marked areas licensed for alcohol consumption at the station’s restaurants.
6. Stay at the station
The premises of the station are intended for travel and transactions. The use of the premises for accommodation, camping, sleeping or other purposes not included in station operations is not permitted.
7. Sales, campaigns and performances
Without specific permission, the following are prohibited at the station:
- engage in sales or marketing
- distribute advertisements, flyers or samples
- raise money, organise campaigns or other similar activities
- organise performances or photography or promotional activities that use the premises of the station or disrupt other station operations
Permits ensure that the station environment remains smooth for everyone.
8. Taking photos or videos
Taking photos and videos in the public areas of the station is permitted, as long as it does not:
- jeopardise safety
- prevent movement or station operations
- violate the privacy of others or disturb the personnel, passengers or companies operating at the station
Professional or organised photography or filming always requires a separate permit.
9. Pets
Pets are welcome at the station when they are managed by their owners and on a leash. The owner is responsible for ensuring that their pet is safe and clean and does not disturb others. Please let your dog relieve itself before arriving at the station or platform area and only after leaving the station. Assistance and guide dogs are always welcome.
10. Items and tidiness
Please take care of your items and clean up after yourself. Place trash in the designated containers. Items must not be left unattended or on access routes. We ask that you report any suspicious or unattended items to the personnel or the security officer.
11. Safety, monitoring and removal from the area
Camera surveillance is used at the station to ensure safety, order and the protection of property. The instructions given by the station's personnel and security officers must always be followed. A person who behaves in a manner that is disturbing or undermines safety may be removed from the station, if necessary.
