We have to replace train services by buses between Helsinki and Kirkkonummi due to track work on Sundays May 5, May 19, May 26 and on Thursday May 9. The services to be replaced vary. You can find the most up-to-date information on the replacement bus services and timetables through the trip search. Please note that the replacement buses don't stop in Pasila or Leppävaara.

The services to be replaced are on May 5, May 9, May 19 and May 26:

• Helsinki-Kirkkonummi at 5.15*, 8.20, 9.20, 11.20, 13.20, 14.20, 15.20, 16.20, 17.20, 18.20, 20.50 and 21.50
  
• Kirkkonummi-Helsinki at 8.05*, 10.05, 11.05, 13.05, 15.05, 16.05, 17.05, 18.05, 19.05, 20.05, 22.30 and 23.30

• Helsinki: Postikatu stop, between Posti building and Sokos on the side of the Sokos building.

Due to track work, we will replace all long-distance trains between Helsinki and Turku by buses from 24 June to 28 July.

The buses replacing long-distance trains will continue from Kupittaa to the Turku Central Railway Station and, around the departure and arrival times of ships, also to the Port of Turku and vice versa. More detailed timetables will be published by the end of May, and tickets for the replacement buses will become available at the same time.

Due to track work, we will replace trains between Joensuu and Eno by buses on 29.6.

The buses will be added to the journey search later.

From 12 July to 14 July we will replace some of the trains on the routes Jyväskylä/Pieksämäki/Suonenjoki–Kuopio–Siilinjärvi.

From 1 August to 9 August we will replace some of the trains on the routes Jyväskylä–Pieksämäki–Kuopio–Siilinjärvi.

• Turku: in front of the railway station. Note! at 20.05 busses stop at the parking lot next to the track 17. Track 17 is located next to Logomo and the new car train station, on the opposite side of the station
  
• Turku port: bus platform 7 next to track 2
  

Part of your trip or your entire trip has been replaced with a bus. The travel time of the bus is longer than that of the train and it has been taken into account in the timetable marked on your ticket.

Instead of a train, you can reach your destination by bus arranged by VR. The bus stops may be different from the train stops and the travel time may also be different. Check your ticket for current journey details.

Unfortunately, replacement buses do not have accessible travel services. If all trains on your travel date have been replaced with a bus due to track work, we will arrange an accessible taxi for you. You can contact our free accessible travel service by calling 0800 188 822, and we will help you!

• Replacement buses have limited space for baggage. Unfortunately, bikes cannot be taken on replacement buses.
  
• The safety belts on buses may not be suitable for safety seats for children.
  
• Pets can travel with their owners on replacement buses.
  
• Guide dogs, assistance and hearing dogs may travel free of charge.
