Bus replacement services during track work

Ring Rail Line: repair work on the Aviapolis–Helsinki Airport section during the night between 25 and 26 July

 

Ring Rail Line repair work will cause traffic interruptions on the Aviapolis–Helsinki Airport section on 25–26 July between 00:00 midnight and 06:00 a.m. During this time, I and P trains will be cancelled on this railway section.

  • During the repair work, the centre of Helsinki can be reached with HSL buses 562N and 567 via Myyrmäki or Tikkurila

Ring Rail Line: repair work on the Helsinki Airport–Hiekkaharju section during the night between 1 and 2 August

 

Ring Rail Line repair work will cause traffic interruptions on the Helsinki Airport–Hiekkaharju section on 1–2 August between 00:00 midnight and 06:00 a.m. During this time, I and P trains will be cancelled on this railway section.

  • During the repair work, the centre of Helsinki can be reached with HSL buses 562N and 567 via Myyrmäki or Tikkurila

Tampere–Seinäjoki: Buses will replace trains from 4 May

Track work is taking place between Tampere and Seinäjoki from 4 May. The train services to be replaced vary and you will always find up-to-date information on timetables in the journey planner.

A replacement bus departure and arrival stops are:

  • Seinäjoki: northern part of platform 1

  • Parkano: railway station

  • Tampere: front of the railway station

 


 

Kerava–Saunakallio: bus line 969X supplements train traffic from June 15 to August 9

Due to the Kehä I bridge construction in Pukinmäki, the R and Z trains operate a reduced service outside rush hours. Over the summer, bus line 969X supplements the train traffic between Kerava and Saunakallio from Monday to Sunday.

  • Kerava: platform 11

  • Ainola: railway station

  • Järvenpää: railway station

  • Saunakallio: railway station

 


 

Turku–Salo: trains replaced with buses from July 1st

Track work is taking place between Turku and Salo from 1st of July. Some of the trains will be replaced by buses.

Bus stops:

  • Turku: in front of the railway station
  • Kupittaa: Mehiläinen Neo bus stop at the station, at the part of the station which is closer to Turku city
  • Salo: by the platform 1, closer to Turku city by the elevator and the station tunnel
     

 

Please note that

The replacement buses can transport only a limited amount of baggage.

The buses cannot transport bicycles.

The safety belts on buses may not be suitable for children’s safety seats.

The replacement buses do not have wheelchair access.

Pets may travel on buses if there is space and there are no passengers with allergies.

Due to track work, some of the train services will be operated by buses which do not offer services for disabled passengers. As a customer with a wheelchair, you have the right to a replacement taxi service. Read more about services for disabled passengers during the track work
