Cookies
The site uses cookies. A cookie is a short text file which the network server sends to the user's browser and is then saved on the user's hard disk.
VR web site collects data on content use and user preferences with cookies. User preferences are used to determine information content the user finds interesting and when and how the web service is used. VR try to develop its web service to better meet the needs of customers with this information.
Bank web sites require that the browser accepts cookies. Therefore, VR Online Shop does not work without cookies because train tickets are paid via the bank's interface. Flexi service, which requires use of the Tupas identification method of the Federation of Finnish Financial Services, requires use of cookies.
You can block cookies by modifying your browser's Internet settings. Blocking cookies may, however, prevent you from accessing all site content like VR Online Shop.
In most browsers you can check JavaScript and browser settings in Internet Options or Tools.
