Night train to Lapland
Night trains take you from the southern tip of Finland to Lapland while giving you the chance to get a good night's sleep. In night trains you can travel in a day car seat or in a sleeping-car in one, two or three person compartments.
Night train onboard services
VR's modern double-deck sleeping-cars are designed to accommodate the needs of various types of passengers. The cars have a wide range of services for different types of passengers. The double-deck sleeping-car compartments are available in night trains operated between Helsinki and Kemijärvi.
Also single deck blue night trains are operated to destinations in Lapland. The trains run from the south to Kolari and Rovaniemi.

Restaurant services
Restaurant services are an important part of an enjoyable journey. All night trains have a restaurant car Raileri which offers a culinary journey into the 1970s. The restaurant car serves alcoholic beverages 09.00-01.30. The restaurant car is closed 02.00-04.00.
