CarTrain packages and berths

In night trains you can travel in a seat or in a sleeping car's 1, 2 or 3 person compartment. Some night trains have car-carrier wagons so you can transport your car with you by buying an inexpensive CarTrain package.

Sleeping car ticket price varies depending on whether you travel on double-deck or blue sleeping cars. When travelling in a sleeping car you need a ticket equal in price to a regional train ticket and a berth. Berths are available in two price groups, i.e. high season and low season.

When travelling by car-carrier train get an inexpensive CarTrain package. The package includes

  • the journey by train
  • berths onboard the train
  • car transport.

CarTrain package prices on a particular route depend on e.g. on travel date and car-carrier train type (blue or double-deck).
