Seats

Choose from the following types of seats in the Online Shop, subject to availability:

• Window and aisle seats in Pendolino, InterCity and express trains.
• Wheelchair spaces in Pendolino, InterCity and express trains;
• Allergic passenger seats in InterCity and express trains.
• Family compartment seats and seats by the children’s playroom.
• Seats in a pet car or pet compartment. The pet charge is collected aboard the train by the conductor
• Seats with power sockets in Pendolino, InterCity and express trains.
• Seats in working compartments in InterCity trains.
• Upper floor and lower floor seats in InterCity trains.

Changes in travel plans

If you change your travel plans you can cancel your train ticket. Read more on cancellation of train tickets purchased in the Online Shop.

Means of payment

VR Online Shop accepts the most common means of payment.

Ticket delivery

• Print the e-ticket from the order confirmation screen or from the e-mail message attachment
• You can also receive the train ticket to your mobile phone as an SMS and multimedia message if the order includes only one journey without change of trains for one person
• Pick-up from a ticket-vending machine or VR station booking office
• Give your address and select delivery by post.
