Change and cancellation of berth ticket and car-carrier package ticket
Night-train tickets and car-carrier tickets may be changed or cancelled.
Cancellation of berth ticket
A berth ticket may be cancelled before the departure of the train; a €4 cancellation commission is charged. If a berth ticket is cancelled at the latest, two weeks after the departure of the train indicated in the ticket, a, €8 cancellation commission is charged.
Change and cancellation of a car-carrier ticket or a car-carrier package ticket
The date of a car-carrier ticket or car-carrier package ticket may be changed or the journey cancelled.
Change of ticket
- The date of a car-carrier ticket or car-carrier package ticket may be changed at the latest, two days before the departure of the train, in off-season periods and at the latest, a week before the departure of the train, in high-season periods, with no cancellation commission charged.
- A car-carrier ticket may also be changed after the cancellation dead-line provided that there is a space available in the new car-carrier. In this case a €20 cancellation commission is charged (2x €20 for a car plus trailer combination).
A car-carrier ticket cannot be changed by telephone. An unused car-carrier ticket shall be returned.
Cancellation of ticket
- An off-season car-carrier ticket is refunded to the customer at the latest, two days before the departure of the train, with a €20 cancellation commission deducted therefrom, and at the latest, a week before the departure of the train in high-season periods.
- Should a car-carrier package be cancelled in an off-season period on the day of departure or in high-season, less than a week before the departure, the cancellation commission charged equals the price of transport of the car or the car with trailer combination.
Car-carrier ticket cancellations are not accepted by telephone. An unused car-carrier ticket must be returned.
