Kouvola

Renewal of the Kouvola passenger yard 2009–2010. New platforms and roofs are being built in the station area. Construction work will cause track changes for departing and arriving trains.

To follow track changes, customers should pay attention to timetable displays, announcements and signs. Displays on platforms are not in use during renewal work. The project includes the construction of lifts and stairs to platforms.

Renovation work on platform 1 closest to the station started in January 2010 and the platform is closed. Also the stairway access from platform 1 to the pedestrian underpass is closed. Access to other platforms and via the underpass to Kiskokatu is only via the station hall stairwell from 25 January to 24 May.

Around the work site it is important to be careful and obey signs.
