High-speed train Sapsan on Moscow–St. Petersburg line
The high-speed train Sapsan runs daily between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Timetables can be found from Russian railways website.
Travel time of Sapsan's morning and evening services on Moscow–St. Petersburg route is only 3h 45. The travel times of day services and other daytime trains is from four to five and a half hours.
Sapsan has 10 cars and 554 seats. Business travellers have 104 seats. The train also has a restaurant car. Business class tickets include a warm meal served at your seat, dailies and wlan. Second class travellers can, for a fee, order meals from a sales trolley and use the internet, tv and radio.
In addition to the Sapsan services, two regular day services are operated on Moscow–St. Petersburg route in both directions. There are also 10 night trains on the Moscow–St. Petersburg line every night in each direction.
