GSM audibility

• In Pendolino trains GSM audibility has been improved in all cars
• In InterCity2 trains GSM audibility has been improved in business class, on the lower and mezzanine levels of the trains, and in the mobile phone booth on the upper level.
• In new doubledeck sleeping-cars GSM repeaters cover the entire cars.
• In express and regional trains audibility has not been amplified.

Mobile phone audibility locally deteriorates by, e.g. tunnels, rock cuttings, bad weather conditions and jammed simultaneous mobile phone use.

Mobile phone coverage has been improved in cooperation with TeliaSonera. The new 3G amplifiers on long-distance trains enhance TeliaSonera, Elisa and DNA mobile phone coverage on trains.
