Timetable searches on mobile phones

If your phone has an Internet connection you can search VR timetables at m.vr.fi or mobile.vr.fi.

Instructions 1. Open the Internet browser of your mobile phone and enter the address of the mobile service m.vr.fi or mobile.vr.fi. 2. The journey search window opens. Enter departure and arrival stations. Instead of station names you can also use VR station codes. 3. Enter travel date and time based either on departure or arrival time and click on Search timetable.

4. The results page shows all services matching your search criteria. The most suitable connection is marked in grey. 5. You can also search for previous or following connections or do a new search. 6. You cannot search price data or buy tickets from VR Online shop. Traffic bulletins to mobile phone

• Go to m.vr.fi or mobile.vr.fi
• Scroll to the bottom of the page
• Click on link Traffic bulletins to view current bulletins
• If your phone supports RSS feeds you can subscribe to the service by phone and save the feed as a bookmark in your browser
• Go to other mobile services via the links at the bottom of the page.

Live train updates to mobile phone

• Go to m.vr.fi or mobile.vr.fi
• Scroll to the bottom of the page
• Click on link Live train updates
• Search updates by station or train number
• Station search gives you live train updates of the searched station with charts for departing and arriving trains
• Train search gives you information on the progress of a particular train. The train's arrival time is marked with a green marker
• If the page does not fit entirely on the screen of your phone you can scroll the view horizontally and vertically.
• Go to other mobile services via the links at the bottom of the page.

Information on station services to mobile phone

You can search station opening hours and services now also by mobile phone if your phone has an Internet connection.

• Go to m.vr.fi or mobile.vr.fi
• Scroll to the bottom of the page
• Click on link Station services
• Search information on a station by selecting a station in the drop-down menu or write the station's name or abbreviation.
• If the page does not fit entirely on the screen of your phone you can scroll the view horizontally and vertically.
• Click on Return to go back to the search page or go to other mobile services via the links at the bottom of the page.
