By train in Russia
Russia offers plenty of cities and places in addition to St. Petersburg and Moscow with sights and experiences. By train you can move flexibly between the sites and you can buy the tickets for a number of lines conveniently already in Finland.
In Finland you can buy tickets to e.g. the following cities in Russia: Tver, Vyborg, Petroskoi, Joskar Ola, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Nizhnyi Novgorod, Omsk, Kazan and Kirov.
Onboard services
- In Finland you can book 1st and 2nd class seats and berths.
- Some trains have a restaurant car.
- In Russia berths are not sold separately for men and women.
- A service fee is collected for some onboard services.
Tickets you cannot book
You cannot book tickets for trains between Vyborg and St. Petersburg or St. Petersburg and Novgorod or other local trains. Long-distance train business class services cannot be booked in Finland.Russian timetables
