Buy a Flexible ticket and travel comfortably and pleasantly in an Extra Class seat. In Extra Class you can use all the Extra Class services, e.g. daily newspapers, coffee/tea and snacks, spacious seating arrangement.

Buy Flexible tickets from VR Mobile and through all other purchasing locations.

The Flexible ticket is valid on the date and train indicated on the ticket.
You can, however, change the date and time of the journey (not the route) free of charge or cancel it entirely for a cancellation fee.
A discount on a Flexible ticket is granted to passengers entitled to a discount: pensioners, juniors, students, the disabled and conscripts and persons in non-military service.
Discounts are granted on the Flexible ticket to passengers entitled to a discount.

Purchasing locations	Buy a Flexible ticket from all purchasing locations: VR Mobile, online, ticket offices or ticket vending machines, by phone from VR Customer Care or onboard the train from the conductor.

How to pay	VR Mobile, Online and ticket vending machines: Flexible tickets are paid when booking. Tickets bought through other purchasing channels: - If train tickets are booked 60-1 days before the journey they must be paid within 24 h. - If train tickets are booked less than 24 h before the departure they must be paid 30 minutes before departure at the latest. - If train tickets are booked less than 30 minutes before the departure they must be paid upon booking. If the reservation is not paid within the deadline the reservation is cancelled.
How to get the tickets	onboard the train, e-ticket (print the ticket yourself or e-mail attachment)and mobile ticket
Validity	The Flexible ticket is valid on the date and train indicated on the ticket.
Changes	Flexible tickets may be changed free of charge at a ticket office or by phone via VR Customer Service before the train's departure or 24 hours after the train's departure at the latest. If a Flexible ticket is changed for a more expensive train type the difference in prices is charged. The difference is not refunded when changing to a less expensive train.
Cancellations	Flexible tickets may be cancelled before the train's departure or 24 hours after the train's departure at the latest at a ticket office (cancellation charge €10). If you have not yet paid the tickets or have paid it by phone to VR Customer Care, you can also cancel it by phone (cancellation charge €10 for paid tickets).
