Ticket payment

Train tickets may be paid as follows:

• VR station booking offices accept cash payments, bank card payments, common Credit/Debit card payments, Visa Electron and Maestro card payments. Diners Club card payments are not accepted.
• Ticket vending machines accept payments by common credit cards and American Express cards.
  
• In VR Online shop via web payment services or by using Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and American Express charge cards.
• Onboard trains by conductors with cash payments, with credit card payments (see cards above) and bank card payments. Please note! Visa Electron cards cannot be used to pay for tickets.
  
  
• by phone through VR Customer Care with Credit/Debit card payment.
• R-kiosks cash payment and payment by charge card and credit card accepted by R-kiosks.

Onboard trains conductors accept

• banknotes up to €50 (also applies to commuter services night time ticket sales in the platform area on nights between Friday and Saturday and Saturday and Sunday 21.00-04.00)
