Buying long-distance train tickets

Long-Distance train tickets can be purchased on VR Mobile, Online Shop, VR station booking offices, Ticket vending machines, VR Sales agents, VR Customer Care, Train conductors.

Train tickets may be booked via VR Customer Care and paid and picked up in an R-kiosk or a ticket vending machine. Please note that ticket purchasing locations are ticket-specific. Check out where to buy on ticket information pages.

Commuter Traffic tickets can be purchased Online Shop (season passes and multitickets), VR station booking offices, Ticket vending machines, Conductors in the ticketing compartments, VR Customer Care.

HSL Area tickets can be purchased aboard transport vehicles (commuter train, bus, tram, metro, Suomenlinna ferry), in VR station booking offices in the HSL Area and on HSL multiticket vending machines.
