School and pensioner groups

Groups travel inexpensively by train. In the environmentally friendly train you travel together in comfort. School and pensioner groups get a discount on train tickets.

Student groups, 50% discount

• School children and students of min. 17 yrs of age are entitled to the group discount referred to. The group members shall produce a document certifying their meeting of the relevant student discount conditions. More informatio

At least one teacher must be part of the school group. One teacher may travel at a 50% discount for every five pupils/students.

Senior citizen groups and under 65 yrs pensioner groups, 50% discount

Persons of min. 65 yrs of age and holders of a pensioner's card approved by VR are entitled to the group discount referred to.

• One person who is not entitled to a discount may travel at the same discount price for every five pensioners.
• The right to a discount must be proven when tickets are inspected.
