VR is not responsible for problems in sending the confirmation or delivery of tickets resulting from erroneous information or any damage resulting from them.
Tickets purchased from VR Online Shop may be changed or cancelled on certain terms. The terms and conditions on changes and cancellations are ticket-specific.
Advance tickets. Advance tickets sold online 60-7 days before the journey cannot be changed or cancelled.
Basic tickets. Basic tickets may be changed or cancelled up to 24 h after the train's departure. A service charge is collected on changes and cancellations.
Flexible tickets. Flexible tickets may be changed free of charge to be valid on other train types. The tickets may also be cancelled up to 24 days after the train's departure. A service charge is collected on cancellations.
CarTrain packages. You can make changes to the CarTrain package at ticket offices up to seven days before the journey. A service charge is collected on changes and cancellations.
Multi-tickets cannot be changed or cancelled.
Season tickets cannot be changed or cancelled.
Tickets for services between Finland and Russia. Tickets for services between Finland and Russia may be changed or cancelled up to six hours before the departure time marked on the ticket. A service charge is collected on changes and cancellations.
Special offer tickets. Special offer tickets cannot be changed or cancelled.
